Each time you empty your smaller (room) waste baskets into a bag, take a minute to wipe out the basket. Whether you use disinfecting wipes or your favorite spray. By keeping on top of the mess you won't have icky wastebaskets that need lots of scrubbing! Nobody wants to clean icky icky ones! LOL
This is definitely not a rocket science tip, but one that I have done and need to do more! (and it works well when you are consistent!) One of my goals it to keep a better cleaning schedule this year!
