My little guys love to color with markers, however if I give them the entire bin they get out of control and we have markers everywhere! Markers with caps....markers without caps..... So I just get out one of our plates and give them about 6 markers and they are satisfied. The plate provides a flat surface which is easy for little hands to grab the markers off and it also provides a wide space so the kiddos can see exactly what is available to use. The best part is then I throw it in my dish washer for clean up! No mess, no waste!
