Home with Function

Thanks for the article from Robin Woodard

We had purchased our 1930’s bungalow in the suburbs knowing it would be a process of renovating and updating. I was in love with the idea of the projects from the beginning. We had purchased many homes over the years and flipped for profit. This project however, was all about creating our dream home to live in for a minimum of ten years. I had great relationships with subcontractors and I oversaw most of the work that took place over a 9 month period. Our goals were to remove walls for better flow, create and open concept kitchen and create a master suite on the second floor. We made it all happen and managed to throw in some money for landscaping too. I took the bull by the horns and logged onto www.DirectStarTV.com and had our satellite installed before move in day so we could have tv during our much needed break times. I had the other utilities turned on months ago so this was the only thing missing. Now that we have settled in some and the projects are behind us, we couldn’t be happier with the functionality of our remodeled home. What a relief!
