Wow, this dessert was like one from a fancy restaurant! This dessert recipe came from the March 2009 Gourmet magazine. It serves 6.
Ingredients:
12 oz fresh raspberries
1 T sugar
1 c whole milk
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1/2 c dark brown sugar
1/3 c flour
2 T cocoa powder
3 1/2 bittersweet chocolate
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter a 1 1/2 qt shallow baking dish. Toss berries with sugar and let stand 15 minutes. Blend milk, butter, eggs brown sugar, flour, cocoa until smooth. Scatter berries evenly in a baking dish, then pour batter over top. Bake until slightly puffed and firm to touch about 35 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped bittersweet chocolate. Cool to warm, about 20 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
