In November 2011, Toddler Veg at the age of 18 months old was diagnosed with a life threatening allergy to peanuts, tree nuts and dairy. I plan to use this as a diary of events...the highs and the lows. I hope that as you read this you will chime in with any opinions, ideas, concerns or encouragement! Our journey begins now....
Over at allergymoms.com I found a great article about true friendship....that of allergy and non allergy friends. Its hard to explain it until you've been through it, but this article says it all! Its so important to have those people in your life! Ones that you can feel safe when your child plays there....friends who get it! Thank you to my friends out there....that "get it"!!!!
